[Presentation of Materials] Case Study of Korten - cafeULuru

The original texture of iron, "sabi"! Over time, exposed to rain and wind, a layer of rust forms on the surface.

Here is a case study of a sign made using COR-TEN steel. Based on the logo sample provided by cafeULuru, we created cutting data. To ensure an even and uniform rust formation, we applied shot blasting before delivery. After installation, the sign will be exposed to rain and wind, allowing a protective rust layer to form on the surface over time. We were able to create a sign that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the store. 【Case Overview】 ■ Client: cafeULuru (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) ■ Cutting Data: 6mm x 200 x 500, letter cut-out processing ■ Processing: Laser cutting + shot blasting *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"Restaurant Entrance Sign Logo Plate" July Best Product

A product that showcases our welding technology! A rod is welded to the back of the letters for display purposes.

We would like to introduce the best product of July, produced by Excel Corporation. The best product of July is the "Sign Logo Plate for Restaurant Entrances." It is made by laser-cutting brass and hollowing it out, with a rod welded to the back of the letters for display. Welding brass is challenging, so it was difficult to attach. In the case of brass, the welds can become weak, so it was necessary to make the rod attached to the back at a right angle, which was quite a task to correct, but it turned out beautifully and showcased our welding technology. We also have photos of other product examples on our website, so please take a look if you are interested.
